Explore Your Career Training Funding Options

Education is one of the most important investments you can make. Don’t let your financial situation stop you from pursuing your career goals. Many students require some form of financial assistance.

The dedicated Financial Advisor team at Bredin College will help you through the financing process and discuss funding options with you such as Student Aid, personal line of credit, or loans. They will determine which option is right for you, and help fully explore your funding options before you start your program. Financial Aid is available to those who qualify.

Entrance Requirements

At Bredin College we provide applicants with the least amount of barriers. Our students come from all walks of life. We try to make our education as accessible to students as possible. Our Admissions Advisors will look at your background, education and experience to determine the best way for you to apply.

Standard Admission

Standard Admission

  • Alberta high school diploma or equivalent verified by the original transcript


Mature Admission

Mature Admission

  • Students must meet ALL of the following criteria:
  • Out of school for one year
  • At least 18 years of age prior to admission
  • 33 credits towards an Alberta high school diploma or equivalent verified by the original transcript

OR

  • Pass an Aptitude Test chosen by Bredin College

OR

  • Foreign Trained Degree and a CLB of 6 or higher


Practicum Requirements

Practicum Requirements

  • Negative criminal record check
  • Completed immunization report showing current, up-to-date immunizations including Hepatitis B and free of communicable diseases, meeting industry requirements.
